An ‘International Symposium on Environmental Flow and Water Resources Management’ is being organized by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Tokyo Institute of Technology (TIT) on 30-31 October, 2014. This symposium aims to provide an opportunity to share and discuss current problems, good management practices, and advanced knowledge and techniques on environmental flow in rivers, contributing to realize sustainable management of rivers and basin environments under conditions with several anticipated demands and climate change.

UNOCAL Myanmar grants scholarships to two AIT students

UNOCAL Myanmar has granted two scholarships to students studying at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Handing over the scholarship cheque to AIT on 27 October 2014, Mr. Mariano L Vela, President, Unocal Myanmar Offshore Co. Ltd., stated that the scholarships mark the beginning of a partnership with AIT.
