The AIT Alumni Club at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by Dr. Tongchat Hongladaromp, KMUTT Board Chair, on 12 September 2014 presented a donation of 0.5 million Baht to AIT President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai for the renovation and modernization of the AIT Library.

Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Inc (EJEC) has offered a scholarship for a student to pursue a Master’s degree at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). This was formalized at the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between EJEC and AIT on 9 September 2014.

FAO Regional Representative for Asia-Pacific visits AIT, discusses joint Action Plan 2014

Inviting the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to consider the Asian Institute of Technology as its “academic arm†for the region, AIT President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai welcomed Mr. Hiroyuki Konuma, Assistant Director General and FAO Regional Representatives for Asia and the Pacific to the campus on August 24 for discussions on the AIT-FAO Action Plan 2014 for cooperation.
