An eleven-country strong team of the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) has expressed their desire to expand their research links with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The 20-member strong delegation sought to learn about AIT’s activities in the field of agriculture, food production and sustainable development.

Climate change is a reality that is having real consequences for the people of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations member states and the rest of the world. Rethinking our global development model, based on sound sustainability science principles, is an absolute necessity given that scientists are convinced that mankind has caused most of the planetary warming which has occurred over the last sixty years.

“Today is another milestone in our long collaboration,” said TEAM Group chief executive officer Dr. Prasert Patramai, praising a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between his firm and the Asian Institute of Technology that will enable numerous student internships and lucrative co-research.

Philippine Society of IT Educators (PSITE), the largest such body in the Philippines visited the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 25 May 2015 and expressed their desire to learn about various programs and offerings by AIT in the field of Information Technology.
