The Asia Institute of Technology (AIT) has a chance to be the first academic institution in Thailand and the ASEAN region to securitize diplomas, degrees and certificates, based on the application of RFID technology and nanotechnology science.

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and the Royal Thai Armed Forces’ National Defence Studies Institute have established a partnership to develop research and academic programs, resources cooperation and organize social activities for the next five years.

AIT President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dr. José Manuel Piňa Gutiérrez, Rector, Universidad Juárez Autónoma De Tabasco (UJAT), Mexico, to initiate cooperative activities in Aquaculture and Aquatic Resource Management between the two universities.

Dr. Rajendra Shrestha has been promoted from the rank of Associate Professor to Full Professor, following the approval of the Board of the Trustees at its meeting held on 16 July 2015.

“We hope to work closely with the Asian Institute of Technology,” said Dr. Liu Jinghui, Secretary-General of the China Scholarship Council, People’s Republic of China, on a visit to AIT on 15 July 2015.

Dr. Sarawut Ninsawat has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor in the Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (RS&GIS) field of study at the AIT School of Engineering and Technology (SET), AIT President Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai announced on 16 July 2016.

Vietnam national Mr. Lai Nguyen Huy graduated from the Asian Institute of Technology on May 22, 2015.
