Abstract:  The lecture will analyse this process of internationalization of higher education, its rationale and impact on developing countries, based on the experience of the Indian Higher Education System.  How the developing countries can hope to benefit from this process of internationalization will be explored, keeping in mind the cultural and other social risks that may be associated with this process of Internationalization.
