Using the Driver-Pressure-State-Impact-Response (DPSIR) framework, the book presents the latest information on groundwater dependency, problems related to groundwater over exploitation, and implementation of various policy instruments, management practices and their results from Asian cities. Exhaustive coverage of Bandung (Indonesia), Bangkok (Thailand), Beijing (China), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Chitwan (Nepal), Delhi (India), Dili (East Timor), Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), Hyderabad
