AIT signs agreement with Balochistan Development Network

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Balochistan Development Network (BDN), an membership-based network comprising of 25 civil society organizations of Balochistan, Pakistan.

The MoU was signed by Chairperson of BDN, Mr. Amjad Rashid Qureshi, and Prof.

Pakistan Ambassador for expansion of cooperation with AIT

Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Asim Iftikhar Ahmad has desired an expansion of cooperation between Pakistan and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Speaking to AIT official on his visit to the Institute on 8 November 2017,  the Ambassador stated that the partnership can be revitalized based on both the historical context as well as mutual benefit.

31 companies participate in the AIT Career Fair

Thirty-one companies, including 11 new participants joined the bi-annual AIT Career Fair held on 1 November 2017. Three companies held campus interviews for job placements as they interacted with the international students’ body that is a unique characteristic of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

AIT faculty member publishes book on Food Processing

Dr Anil Kumar Anal, Head, Department of Food, Agriculture & Bioresources has published a book titled "Food Processing By-Products and Their Utilization."

Edited by Dr Anil, the book claims to be the first which is dedicated to food processing by-products and their utilization in a broad spectrum.

AIT President calls for new BRI universities platform
