Dr. Anal joined AIT as an Assistant Professor in the School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) in August 2009 and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2014.
He obtained his PhD in Food Engineering and Bioprocess Technology and M.Sc. in Bioprocess Technology degrees from AIT in 2003 and 1998, respectively. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 1995.
Dr. Anal’s research encompasses the areas of green technology, smart food processing and packaging; valorization of food waste and agro-residues for value-addition in food, feed, pharmaceutics and biomedical technology; delivery of bioactive compounds in human, and veterinary applications; analysis of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and mitigation strategies in food supply chain systems; innovative methods in quality and safety, risk assessment in food supply chain systems; value-chain analysis in food and natural products; functional foods and neutraceuticals; and nanotechnology in food and pharmaceutical applications.
