Thailand’s National Housing Authority and AIT enter partnership for Technical Cooperation on Building and Housing Technologies

AIT and Thailand’s National Housing Authority (NHA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 20 August 2020 to address the country’s need for affordable housing. The agreement represents a commitment on the part of both organizations to collaborate on capacity building and innovation to develop low-cost, energy-efficient, eco-friendly housing solutions, emphasizing efficiency, quality and conformance to global standards. As NHA’s technical support partner, AIT will provide advice and identify solutions, especially in the field of affordable housing technology. NHA Governor Mr. Taweepong Wichaidit signed the agreement with AIT President Dr. Eden Woon at ceremony at AIT witnessed by a large invited audience. NHA is a state enterprise under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
