Since January of 2020, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has spread across the world. The situation in Thailand was very stable last summer--with a minor outbreak in December—and all the way through the early part of 2021. Unfortunately, a fierce wave hit Thailand in April, but things are slowly improving.

November 8, 201 – At the world’s annual biggest UN climate change conference in Glasgow, Scotland, the Asian Institute and Technology (AIT) joined its global partners at the Water Pavilion to raise awareness on the role of water in support of the science-based global climate action.

The event has given an opportunity for the emerging young researchers from 10+ countries to present their research ideas and innovations.

Chengdu University features AIT at its 6th International Week

October 28, 2021 --- The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) was among three international universities invited to take part in the 6th International Week of Chengdu University. AIT President Dr. Eden Woon delivered an opening speech in the morning of Oct 28th, while the deans from AIT’s three schools joined the afternoon session to introduce the institute to Chinese students.

SDP organized event – Online Education Camp

This two-week Online Education Camp and Study Tour held from 24 September to 7 October 2021, is the 3rd batch for the year. The event was organized by the Office of Special Degree Programs for the students who are from AIT’s partner universities in the Philippines and Indonesia – the Mariano Marcos State University, Visayas State University and Petra Christian University, respectively.
