Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs
Mr. Soontorn Pipatveeravat, an AIT alumnus graduated Master in Agricultural and Food Engineering 1980 and Chief Executive Officer at Der Mond Anandara Co., Ltd., agreed to support THB 150,000 towards one unit of the Incubator Space at AIT Entrepreneurship Center. On 10th November 2021, Ms. Supasinee, daughter of Mr. Soontorn together with Mr. Thananun Aungkajornkul, son in law, handed over the cheque to the Director of Advancement & Alumni Affairs.
The AIT Entrepreneurship Center was established in September 2019, as a breeding ground for future business leaders as well as a learning center, where AIT students, faculty, alumni and partners come to share their knowledge to create innovations and businesses with the ultimate goal of enhancing economic and social development.
AIT President Dr. Eden Woon expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Soontorn, and stated that the Incubator Space will foster students to work together with the faculty members and the alumni who own businesses to experience the spirit of entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the Incubator Space will house the incubation program, which aims to encourage more students to pursue entrepreneurship as a career pathway. This donation is very much appreciated.
