AIT and University of Teramo in Italy sign MoU for mutual cooperation

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and The University of Teramo (UNITE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the inter-institutional relationship in various academic, research, training, and faculty and staff development activities of mutual interest and to combine the efforts in a coordinated manner to serve the region towards economic growth and sustainable development.

The areas of collaboration envisaged between the two institutions are education / continuing education; communication, scientific and technical information; and research development and technology transfer.

The University of Teramo (UNITE) is a public Higher Institution established in 1993 with 5 Faculties distributed in two domains, i.e. humanities and scientific. The main mission is the formation of modern and competent professionals and creative experts in various fields as a result of educational presses based on research, innovation, and high-quality education and training. UNITE is committed to the generation and transfer of new knowledge, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the local community and wider region from a national and international perspective.

The AIT President Dr. Eden Woon expressed his thanks to The University of Teramo for the signing of this MoU which will strengthen the relationship between the two institutions.
