Dr. Donyaprueth Krairit, Interim Dean, AIT School of Management highlighted that AIT used to organize study trips to companies in Shanghai and Beijing, and that the School is now trying to revive them.
Prof. Jayant Kumar Routray of School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) remarked that AIT was ideally placed to train students to tackle the challenges of development in Asia. Dr. Gregory L.F. Chiu, Professor of Practice, AIT highlighted the role played by AIT alumni in their respective countries.
Also attending the meeting were Dr. Sangam Shrestha and Ms. Tripti Rajbhandari of School of Engineering and Technology (SET); Dr. Gabrielle Groves and Mr. Tenzin Rabgyal of External Relations and Communications Office (ERCO); and Qi Xinjian, doctoral student at AIT.
Later the delegation also participated in the AIT Food Fair.
