AIT Energy alumnus appointed President of Thailand Environment Institute (TEI)

Dr. Qwanruedee studied at AIT from 1988-1991, earning a Doctor of
Engineering (DEng) degree. Her advisor was Prof. J.C. Mora and her
dissertation was titled “Reactivity of Ozone in Porous Media: Ozone
Decomposition.” She also holds the position of Executive Director of
the Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD).

With more than 20 years of experience in the field of energy and
environment, Dr. Qwanruedee is an expert in various fields of
environment. Environmental pollution, environmental economics,
environmental policy, climate change and sustainable development are
the key areas of her expertise.

A notable thought leader, Dr. Qwanruedee engages in extensive projects
and forums pertaining to energy, climate change, sustainable
development, international cooperation, and other environmental issues.

After obtaining her DEng, Dr. Qwanruedee pursued a Post Doctoral
Program at Centre of International Research for Water and Environment
(CIRSEE), Lyonaise Des Eaux Dumez, France.
