Two dozen companies participate in AIT Career Fair
Companies are looking towards hiring people who are adaptive,
flexible and innovative. Team building ability and tolerance for
difference are critical elements which are crucial for a good career.
This was stated by Dr. Richard Wellford, Chairman, CSR Asia while
delivering a talk at the AIT Career Fair.

Dr. Wellford stated that people are now looking for exciting careers
which provide them with a more fulfilling experience. This is opposed
to the earlier notion of salary being the main driving force in a
career. “Companies are getting interested in social skills of the
people they hire,” Dr. Richard remarked.

The fair was followed by a talk on effective communication skills by
Mr. Steve Hiatt, a counseling expert. Mr. Chatchair Ugsornsilp, Senior
Program Assistance, TUSEF/Fulbright Thailand delivered a talk on
Thailand-US Education Services. Ms. Terada Tejapongvorachai from AISEC
develired a talk on AISEC internship.
