In a message the AIT President said “our thoughts and prayers are with
the families of the victims, and those injured or displaced, and all
the people of China”. AIT is particularly affected since the disaster
has struck one of our longstanding partners, the President said adding
that the institute reaffirms its commitment to assist in whatever way
it can and to further its work in the fields of capacity building,
especially within the areas of disaster management and climate change
among others.
