Head of AIT Alumni Affairs Office, Dr. Tien Le Hoang has congratulated
Mr. Chaovalit on this achievement.
The award was announced on 11 June 2012 by Alpha Southeast Asia which
revealed the results following their second annual poll conducted among
Southeast Asia's top companies. The awards are based on votes polled
among 460 investors, pension funds, hedge funds, equity and fixed
income brokers and analysts with investment interests in Southeast
Asia. Companies in each country were ranked on the basis of financial
management, adherence to corporate governance, CSR and investor
relations' strategy, transparency and disclosure.
In Thailand, seven companies most favorably regarded among investors
include PTT Plc., Siam Cement Group, Thai Bev, Total Access
Communication, Ratchaburi and Thai Oil as well as Thai Airways.
Mr. Chaovalit has been Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of
Finance and Investment of Siam Cement Public Co. Ltd. since January
2011. He has been the President at Cementhai Holding Co., Ltd. since
January 1, 2011. He served as the President of Siam Pulp and Paper
Public Company Ltd., an operating unit of Siam Cement Public Co. Ltd.
from 2005-2011.
