Mr. Harry Kasuma Aliwarga (Kiwi Aliwarga), AIT alumnus who graduated with a Masters in Structural Engineering in 1995 and is CEO, UMG Group of Companies has agreed to support 24 credits and 4 semester’s registration fees Master scholarship to a Myanmar student enrolled in one of the selected programs in any of the AIT three schools for the August 2022 intake. After completion of the studies, the recipient will have the opportunity to work with UMG Group of Companies.
UMG comprises of a group of companies which was founded in 1998 in Myanmar. UMG initially penetrated the local market in 1998 by trading generators and spare parts of heavy equipment. Today, UMG has expanded into six major business in Myanmar that cover Distribution, Infrastructure Development, Resources, Food, Education & Entertainment and Financial Services.
AIT President Dr. Eden Woon expressed his sincere thanks to Mr. Kiwi Aliwarga for providing this scholarship with the offer of a job enabling the selected student with the opportunity to further enhance his/her career. AIT very much appreciates the support.
