Nokia Training Center offers hands-on training
Forum Nokia has established Symbian OS - Mobile Applications Development Training Centre at Telecommunications and ICT (http://www.ict.ait.ac.th), AIT. Nokia certified trainers will give on hands-on training to industry professionals and other interested persons in developing mobile applications on Symbian technology.

Here are the upcoming trainings sessions:
4300: Symbian Basics, 5-6 February 2007 - Audience: This course is intended for C++ developers with an interest in developing applications for the S60 or Series 80 developer platforms. Topic areas include: Nokia developer platforms, memory and resource management, descriptors, application structure overview, resource and localization files, UI controls, client/server framework, active object framework. Prerequisites: Attendees should have C++ programming experience; a firm grasp of object-oriented programming principles, an understanding of C++ coding constructs common in C, and have taken 5200B or have familiarity with the UI and usability principles of the developer platforms.
6300: S60 3rd Edition Update, 7 February 2007 - Audience: This course is intended for experienced developers with an interest in upgrading applications to the 3rd Edition of the S60 developer platform. Topic areas include: application structure changes, platform security changes, compatibility issues, API changes, updated Symbian signed, new CodeWarrior 3.0.2 IDE. Prerequisites: Attendees should have taken 5300 or have advanced programming experience with S60 C++.
