Welcome Faculty
The School of Advanced Technologies is pleased to welcome Prof. Sambasiva Srinivasan,
currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India.
Prof. Srinivasan is a Visiting Professor in the Microelectronics Program for a period of three months
from January 5 to April, 2003. He is seconded to AIT by the Government of India.
During his appointment, Prof. Srinivasan will be teaching Digital System Design course along with its lab.
Prof. Srinivasan acquired his B. E. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) degree from the
University of Madras (India), and both his M.E. and Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) degrees from the

Prof. Hyo-Sok Ahn is a Visiting Professor in the Microelectronics Program for a period of two
months from January 20 to March 19, 2003. His visit is based on the Faculty Exchange Program between
KIST and AIT under the framework of KIST-AIT Cooperation
During his appointment, Prof. Ahn will be teaching Tribology: Friction, Wear and Lubrication course.
Prof. Hyo-Sok Ahn has acquired his B.Sc.and M.Sc. from Seoul National University, and
accomplished Ph.D from University of Wales (U.K.) in 1988. He can be reached at room IE201,
