AIT, NCKU sign accords

On February 12, 2004, AIT and the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, signed agreements on academic cooperation and student exchange. The accords aim at strengthening the academic collaboration between the two institutions through academic and faculty exchanges as well the exchange of students. The formal collaboration between AIT and NCKU will include the student and faculty exchange programs starting in the fields of management, water engineering and industrial engineering.

The accords were signed by Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, AIT President; and Dr. Chiang Kao, NCKU President. It was witnessed by Dr. Wann-Yih Wu, Dean of College of Management; Dr. Tai-Yue Wang, Chair of Department of Industrial and Information Management; Prof. Chinho Lin of the Department of Industrial and Information Management; Dr. Liang-Hsuan Chen, Professor, Department of Industrial and Information Management. Also witnessing the accord signing were Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost; Prof. A.T.M. Nurul Amin of SERD, Prof. Stephen Olu Ogunlana of SCE, Dr. Nitin Afzulpurkar of SAT, and Dr. Sundara Venkatesh of SOM, who represented the Deans of the Schools.
