SERD Receives Project Support from EU
The 'Human resource development network in food quality and safety for sustainable food production' project under the ASEAN-EU University Network
Programme (AUNP) submitted by Prof. Vilas M. Salokhe (right) of Agricultural System and Engineering FoS, SERD to European Union has been approved to receive the support of Euro 196,612 from EU's Asia Link Program.
The project which is under the human resource development component will involve various academic activities viz. a kick-off conference; human resource
development programme for young and future ASEAN university teaching staff; short teaching assignments; dissemination activities and networking by conference and electronic means.
This two-year project is a collaborative project between Stichting Van Hall Larenstein, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands; Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, UK; Jember University, Jember, Indonesia and AIT.
