SME Management Development Program Alumni Meeting
The alumni members of the Small and Medium Enterprise Management Development Program of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) gathered at AIT for a one-day alumni meeting cum seminar on 15 February 2007. The event was organized by AIT's School of Management (SOM) to provide a forum for sharing experiences between the seminar participants and SOM faculty as well as for exploring possibilities for future cooperation.
Representatives of all batches of the Sida development program which has been running for 10 years were selected and invited to this alumni meeting. The event included a seminar at AIT and other study visits in Thailand.
There were 28 participants attending the one-day seminar. They came from India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. The group was led by Professor Dr. Per Lind from Linkping University, Sweden. Professor Ilkka Kauranen was the person who took the lead from AIT in this initiative.
