Official working hours to end at 4:30 p.m.
AIT President Prof. Said Irandoust announced on 21 March that efficient functioning of the institute and effective delivery of services to the students requires that faculty and staff be present for a full eight working hours per day.
Effective 1 April 2006, official working time will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., which is eight working hours per day including a one-hour lunch break.
All employees are required to extend the working hours from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. In relation to this, those employees with approved flexible working time are required to have the same eight working hours per day.
All school deans, office heads and directors are requested to ensure implementation of this policy.
The staff bus schedule will be adjusted to depart AIT at 4:40 p.m.
