AIT's School of Management (SOM) has been
ranked as the number one internationally known business school
in Thailand, according to an educational survey published by
Eduniversal International Scientific Committee.
Official Selection ranking (available by visiting www.eduniversal.com), AIT was
ranked first in the category of top business school internationally
known, edging out Chulalongkorn University’s Sasin Graduate
Institute of Business Administration, which placed second.
The poll conducted from October 2007 to
March 2008 sampled the opinions of 1000 selected business school deans
who gave their recommendations about business schools around the
world. Country by country, the deans were asked which
business school(s) they would recommend to students. Amongst the seven
Thai graduate business schools listed on the survey, AIT’s
School of Management scored the top recommendation rate of 260
per 1000 respondents.
Eduniversal creates this ranking service to provide students,
professionals, human resources executives and academic officers with a
global panorama of the best
educational opportunities. The 12 members of the International Scientific
Committee are experts in the educational field and represent the five
continents. According to Eduniversal, the 1000 business schools
selected in the poll came from over 150 countries. Institutes and
universities were selected based on their international and national
influence and recognition.
