Visiting AIT
On Wednesday, March 24, a Japanese delegation visited AIT. The delegation includes Mr. Atsushi Ozu, First Secretary of Embassy of Japan and Mr. Yichiro Kimata, Assistant Resident Representative, JICA Thailand Office and a study team from Kokusai Kogyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. which is contracted by JICA to conduct a survey to review the past and current collaboration between the Japanese Government and AIT and to examine the possibility of further collaboration with AIT as a center for technical cooperation with neighboring countries in the region.

During the visit, the delegation met with Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, AIT President; Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost; Mr. Karma Rana, Institute Secretary; Dr. Michiro Kusanagi, Prof. Ryuzo Yokoyama and Dr. Hiroyasu Satoh, Japanese faculty at AIT to explain in details the objectives of the study as well as request AIT's cooperation in providing necessary information for the study team.
