UNEP and AIT host the Crown Prince of Nepal, PARAS BIR BIKRAM SHAH DEV visit

H.E. UNEP and AIT host the Crown Prince of Nepal, PARAS BIR BIKRAM SHAH DEV visit

On May 4-7, 2003 the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) had the honor to co-host the visit of His Royal Highness PARAS BIR BIKRAM SHAH DEV, The Crown Prince of Nepal.

His Royal Highness was provided with a brief on AIT and its relation to Nepal by the President. The main objective of the study visit was to provide His Royal Highness the knowledge on the basics of environment, topics related to Nepal's priority issues and topics on Nepal's role in regional cooperation for environment.

HRH The Crown Prince arrived at AIT and was welcomed by the Nepalese community at AIT.
