New Human Resources Head appointed
Ms. Phanit Tiravongchaipunt, was appointed new Head-Human Resources Office, effective from 15 March 2007. Ms Phanit is responsible for overseeing the personnel management of the Institute. This will involve conducting HR functions in accord with labor laws, implementing terms and conditions of employment for employees, facilitating career development, and planning short- and long-term HR operations.
Ms. Phanit obtained her master's degree in human resources management from the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, and her bachelor's degree in mass communication major in advertising and public relations from Thammasat University. Before this appointment, she served as Human Resource Manager of Capital Advisory Services (Thailand) Ltd. She had also established a long career in human resource management as Human Resources and Administration Manager of DBS Vickers Securities Co Ltd, of SG Asia Credit Securities (Thailand) Co Ltd, and of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Securities Co Ltd.
