Sumitomo 2002 Grant for Japan-related
Research Projects
The Sumitomo Foundation announces the call for applications for the 'Fiscal 2002 Grant for Japan-related Research Projects.'
The grant, which has been offered since 1991 aiming to enhance
mutual understanding between Asian countries and Japan, is to be awarded to
researchers in Asian countries for their research projects in the field
of social sciences or humanities that are related to Japan. 365 research
projects, or 344 million Japanese Yen in terms of grant amount, have
been awarded during the past 11 years.
Details of the terms and conditions (in pdf format) for applying for the
program, may be requested through Khun Kanya at kanya@ait.ac.th Completed application for the program must be received by the Foundation no later than October 31, 2002, together with a letter of recommendation.
