Vietnamese delegation visit
A delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training -- headed by Prof. Pham Sy Tien, Director of the Management Board, Government Scholarship Project for Overseas Education and Training -- visited AIT upon the invitation of Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, AIT President on December 17, 2003.
During their visit, they were welcomed by Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, President; Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost; Mr. Benjamin Gargabite, Admissions and Scholarships Director.
The visit gave the delegation opportunities to know AIT better -- and for AIT to receive constructive suggestions with regard to the implementation of mutual cooperative programs. It is also meant to familiarize MOET officials with the change of AIT semester system, and to make official provision of 25 MOET scholarships to AIT two-phase programs.
The delegation also met the Vietnamese students under the Vietnam Scholarship Program and attended graduation program on December 19.
