Dean Worsak elected Speaker for 2008 World Congress on Computational Mechanics

Professor Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, for having been elected by the largest number of votes to serve as semi-plenary speaker at the World Congress on Computational Mechanics scheduled to take place in Venice, Italy in 2008. This is the first time that the International Association of Computational Mechanics (IACM) has called on its worldwide council members to vote for three plenary and six semi-plenary speakers. Over 4,000 participants are expected to attend the World Congress and this is a great recognition of Professor Worsak's contribution to the field and at the same time also brings much publicity to AIT.
