The two universities shall focus on executive education in the field
of public administration, education, planning and management, economic
relation management, national and local governance, sustainable
development, law, industry, urban management, climate change and
disaster management, tourism and human resource management.
JGU, which was established in 2009, is located in the National Capital
Region of Delhi. It has established five schools: Jindal Global Law
School, Jindal Global Business School, Jindal School of International
Affairs, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, and Jindal
School of Liberal Arts and Humanities.
Dr. Sahni, while interacting with senior AIT officials, stated that 30
per cent of their faculty is recruited from abroad, and 50 per cent of
JGU faculty is female. Lt. Gen (Retd.) Dr Rajesh Kochhar, Director,
Jindal Institute of Leadership Development and Executive Education
(JILDEE) remarked that they are concentrating on leadership development
in their executive training programs. Mr. Ramesh Kumar of P2P (Thai) Co
Ltd. also accompanied the JGU delegation.
