Developing countries must set research priorities

Prof. Sudip K. Rakshit, vice president of research, published an essay in the 29 August 2006 Bangkok Post that points out the disparity in research between developing countries and developed countries. He suggests a collaborative approach and encourages the private sector to become involved with local universities.
