AIT Invitation for Sealed Bids

Sealed bids are invited for the sale of official vehicles. The vehicles will be offered on an 'as is, where is' basis.

All sealed bids must be submitted not later than 9:00 a.m. on 15 August 2005. Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on the same day on 2nd Floor, Meeting Room, Physical Plant Building, Asian Institute of Technology, No. 58 Moo 9, Paholyothin Highway Km. 42, Klong Luang, Pathumthani.

Interested parties can inspect the vehicles at Motor Pool, Physical Plant at 08.00-15.00 hrs. on working days only from 18 July 2005 to 11 August 2005.

Bidders must submit cash deposit of Baht 10,000/- per each vehicle, as a guarantee to the AIT Cashier and submit their sealed bids to Purchasing Office. Unsuccessful bidders can refund the guarantee amount from the cashier after the bid result.

For the successful bidder, the Baht 10,000/- will become a part of the deposit amount of 25% of the bid price, which he has to pay immediately upon notification of acceptance. The final payment of the balance must be made on or before 7 days after the bid opening.

The Asian Institute of Technology reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted. Successful bidders who default to comply with the terms and conditions of the bid shall forfeit the guarantee money.
