Acting Dean of the AIT Extension
Dr Teresita del Rosario (left) is to assume the position of Acting Dean of the AIT Extension, concurrent to her appointment as Secretary General of the Greater Mekong Subregion Academic & Research Network (GMSARN) and Coordinator of the ADB-AIT Networking Project, effective from 1 January 2005. She is expected to assume this new assignment until 30 June 2005. I am grateful to Dr del Rosario for having accepted to assume this additional responsibility.
I also wish to express, on behalf of the Institute, our sincere appreciation for the valuable services Professor Singh has rendered to the Institute in his capacity as Dean of the AIT Extension, during which time, the AIT Extension has enhanced its reputation and increased its cooperation with other reputable organizations in the region and beyond. I wish Professor Singh well in his retirement from the Institute.
