AIT and Japan's Saga University plan to jointly offer a double degree master's program
Saga University, Japan, is keen on partnering with AIT under a general MoU on academic cooperation and exchange, as well as through a cooperation agreement to jointly offer a double degree master's program. This initiative was expressed during a meeting at AIT between Professor Tatsuya Koumoto, Professor of Geotechnical Environment and Special Assistant to the President, Saga University, with AIT President Said Irandoust, on 19 July 2007. He was accompanied by Professor Dennes T. Bergado of the School of Engineering and Technology. It was a very fruitful meeting and both parties agreed to further work at finalizing the implementation modalities.
