AIT President meets famous Israeli film director
AIT President Said Irandoust recently attended a brunch with world renowned Israeli film director Mr. Amos Gitai, at the invitation of H.E. Ambassador Yael Rubinestein of Israel. The brunch was followed by the screening of Mr. Gitai's movie Free Zone, which is an entry from Israel at the ongoing Bangkok International Film Festival 2007.
President Irandoust also met with some of the organizers of the Bangkok International Film Festival 2007, and put forward a proposal to consider AIT as a venue for screening of international movies as part of such events. The institute will also be approaching some of our partner countries to consider AIT as a site for such events, as the President believes AIT provides an excellent platform.
