UNU, AIT signed MoU
The United Nations University (UNU) and AIT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, March 9, 2004.
The MoU formalizes the many collaborations between UNU and AIT and focuses on
collaboration on Human Resources Development and the use of new technologies for
academic research applications.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Hans van Ginkel, Rector of UNU and Vice Chairman of AIT Board of Trustee and Prof. Jean Louis Armand, AIT President. The event was attended and witnessed by Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost; Prof. Chongrak Polprasert, Dean SERD; Prof. Huynh Ngoc Phien, Dean SAT; Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Dean SCE; Dr. Nazrul Islam, Acting Dean SOM; Mr. Larry Ricarte, Academic and Administrative Secretary; Mr. Karma Rana, Institute Secretary; Dr. Neelakantan Ramachandran, Chief Internal Auditor, Mr. Eng Wan Ng, Chief Finance Officer; and Ms. Kanya Worawichawong, Corporate Relations Coordinator.
