Hua Hin Today, on 31 October 2006, announced the appointment of Dr. Wajee Chookittikul, an AIT alumnus, as the new Vice Rector of Webster University Thailand, the only residential American University in the S.E. Asian region.
As Vice Rector, Dr Wajee's key responsibility is to liaise with Thailand's Commission of Higher Education (CHE).
Dr Wajee received her Doctorate in Technical Science from the Information Management Department of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), a Master of Science Degree in Information Management from AIT, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science at Silpakorn University.
In June 2006, Dr Wajee was appointed Vice Rector, while still maintaining the position, Head of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department, Webster University Thailand.
