Executive Committee held first meeting
The Executive Committee (ExCom) met for the first time this year on April 19. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Kopr Kritayakirana, Chairman of the Executive Committee. It was also attended by H.E. Mr. Jan Axel Nordlander, Ambassador of Sweden and Vice-Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, and other EXCom members.
At the meeting, the ExCom endorsed for approval by the Board, the replacements, nominations and renewals of committee members and other related issues.
The meeting ended with an appreciation and recognition of the time and services rendered by outgoing ExCom member Kiyoaki Kikuchi, former Ambassador of Japan to the United Nations, who did not seek reappointment at the end of his present term.
