The Energy Field of Study at SERD recently purchased an Interactive Electronic Whiteboard (Panasonic's Interactive Panaboard UB-8325). The Interactive Whiteboard functions as an interactive board, an electronic whiteboard, a projector screen and an electronic print board. One interesting feature, among others, is that meeting notes can be saved directly to a PC with a capability to convert handwritten words and numbers to digital text. Computer presentations can be directly displayed onto this equipment, with its electronic pen used in the same way as mouse on a regular computer.
The Interactive Electronic Whiteboard offers the possibility of working on Windows applications using an electronic pen directly from the board, and printing copies of whatever is displayed on board, including electronic notes
Schools / offices wishing to make use of this equipment can contact the Energy Secretary, Khun Nantha, at Ext. 5440.
