Visiting AIT
On 22 October 2004, a delegation from Institute of Technology Bandung, Indonesia led by Prof. Dr. Ir Abdul Aziz Djajaputra and accompanied by Dr. Ubuh Buchara Hidajat visited AIT. As a member of Strategic Planning Team, they were on a fact-finding mission to AIT for the transformation process of their institute into autonomous stage.
During the visit, they met Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost; Prof. Chongrak Polprasert, Dean SERD and Acting Dean SCE; and Mr. Kyaw Soe Hlaing, Alumni Relations Officer.

The purpose of the visit was to explore AIT's experiences as a research institute and to revive the previous collaboration between AIT and ITB.
The delegation later visited the School of Advanced Technologies, the School of Civil Engineering and the AIT Library. They met with ITB alumni who are currently studying in AIT namely Mr. Martinus P. Abednego, Doctoral student, SCE/CEM; Miss Nita Yunita, Doctoral student, SCE/IWRM; Mr. Mohammad Noor Andi Kusumah, Masters' student, SERD/UEM. The ITB alumni accompanied them during their visit to AIT.
