Yoga begin 16 August
Yoga classes will be held every Wednesday for six weeks from: 16 August to 20 September 2006 at the Language Center, Room 236, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
The type of yoga featured is called Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. It consists of exercises or postures (asanas) with specialized breathing (pranayama), hand and finger gestures (mudras), body locks (bhandas), chanting (mantras) and meditations, together or in sequence to create exact, specific effects. The class fee is 100 baht per session; free for students. No prior practice of yoga is required. Participants are advised to wear loose exercise clothes and bring an exercise mat. Register by sending an e-mail to Marie:
