AIT President Prof. Said Irandoust, on behalf of the
Institute, has expressed his deepest condolence to the victims of
the recent natural disasters impacting South-East Asia. In a condolence
message the AIT President said our heart goes out to those hit by the
multiple tragedies. “AIT is particularly affected since the disaster
has struck our partner countries. The simultaneous tragedies of
earthquakes in Indonesia, tsunami in Samoa and the typhoon in
Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and some parts of China also
reaffirms our commitment to work more in the fields of capacity
building, disaster management and climate change,” the AIT President
said.
