Distinguished AIT alumnus Dr. Subin Pinkayan handed over an initial
contribution of one million Baht for the establishment of a “Research
Fund for Renewable and Sustainable Power Generation” at AIT. AIT
President Said Irandoust while expressing his gratitude appreciated Dr.
Subin’s offer to actively promote and support this initiative by
approaching other potential organizations for partnership and
fundraising.
The President also agreed to the concept of having a joint steering
committee comprising of the funding partners and AIT to oversee this
initiative. Dr. Charles O. P. Marpuang from the Energy field of study
also joined the meeting.
