Dr. Nair, who is currently serving in RIL, which operates the largest
oil refinery in the world, stated that a students’ journey from the
campus to the industry can be easier if they concentrate on both
functional and behavioral learning.
Delivering a lecture on “Campus to Industry and Career Development
Plan in Industries,” Dr. Nair stated that responding to market changes
and catering to customer demands are important elements for a career
progression plan. Stating that ‘on the job’ learning’ is critical for
all employees, Dr. Nair added that training is now regarded as a
lifelong process for all employees.
Prof. Nitin Kumar Tripathi, Director, Office of Special Degree
Programs, AIT, welcomed Dr. Nair and highlighted how AIT is moving
towards new modes and teaching methods.
