21 August 2019: AIT President Dr. Eden Y. Woon and Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, M.D., President of Chiang Mai University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for academic cooperation.

University of Iowa

27 August 2019: AIT President Dr. Eden Y. Woon signed an agreement with the University of Iowa for offering a Double Degree Master's Program with Prof. Bruce Harreld, President, University of Iowa. Dr. Gabriele Villarini of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), and Director, IIHR, Hydroscience and Engineering represented the University of Iowa at the signing ceremony.
