Career Talk by Thai Beverage

A Career Talk is being organized by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited on 28 November 2012 from 1330-1500 hours at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium. The presentation will highlight the company and will focus on job and internship opportunities, primarily for nationals from China, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam among others.

Universiti Teknologi Petronas desires partnership with AIT

Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia has expressed its desire to partner with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). A UTP delegation led by Prof. Khairun Aziz Bt Azizli, Director, Sustainable Resources, which visited AIT on 27 November 2012, identified environmental engineering, water engineering, disaster management, offshore technology, and sustainability studies as potential areas of partnership.

AIT’s Yunus Center features at the Global Social Business Summit

Yunus Center at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) featured front and center at the Fourth Global Social Business Summit 2012 held at Vienna from 7-10 November 2012. Yunus Center at AIT (YCA) was one of only six key presenters, both in the academic session, and at the main plenary graced by Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain, and state representatives from Austria, Bahrain, and Brazil.

Loy Krathong festivities

 Thai AIT Student Association will be organizing Loy Krathong festivities on 22 November 2012 from 1730-2100 hours. The event will be held near the 108 junction, AIT. Activities include demonstration of making Krathong, Loy Krathong, folk song, and fireworks display.

MDI, India seeks partnership with AIT

Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, India has sought a renewed partnership with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) with focus on academic exchange, joint programs and research projects. Prof. Mukul P Gupta, Director, MDI, expressed this sentiment while visiting AIT on 19 November 2012.
