Since January of 2020, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has spread across the world.  The situation in Thailand was very stable starting last summer--with a minor outbreak in December-- all the way through the early part of 2021.  Unfortunately, a fierce wave has hit Thailand in April, but we are hopeful that things will improve soon.

AIT joins global forces marking Decade on Ecosystem Restoration on WED2021

The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration begins on World Environment Day 2021 with the theme of ‘Reimagine – Recreate – Restore,' launched virtually from AIT Entrepreneurship Center.

World Environment Day (WED) has been celebrated annually on June 5th since 1974. It is a global platform to promote awareness and action for the environment by inspiring positive changes.

New project receives €2.8M grant from DAAD Germany to study water security and climate change

A new ‘Global Water and Climate Adaptation Center’ will be established at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to work on how climate change affects the hydrological cycle and consequently, water management. The Center will also look into adaptation solutions to lessen the adverse impacts of climate change on natural and human systems.
