After facing the brunt of its most severe inundation in its history, students of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) are back to taking tests and submitting assignments. Mid semester examinations for the undergraduate students, and some term-end examinations for graduate students began on 12 December 2011 at AIT’s temporary location at Hua Hin and Cha-am.
Volunteers arrived at AIT this past weekend from all quarters with sleeves rolled-up, energy to burn and smiles to share as part of a cooperative effort to help rid AIT’s buildings of flood-damaged materials and accumulated debris.
Salvage missions at the mother campus of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) for ground floor offices and residences have been accomplished, with the vast majority of students, faculty and staff managing to retrieve their belongings.
